By pumping fluid from a sleek reservoir through integrated tubing and out across targeted outlets, it keeps the jersey perfectly primed for continuous, hyper-efficient evaporation. Because the jersey handles the cooling, your heart doesn't have to work as hard.

Your body cools itself down through evaporation, but when the heat gets intense, your heart has to work overtime just to pump blood to your skin to cool you down. The Kion Jersey by ThermoBionics steps in to do the heavy lifting for you.

Kion can flexibly integrate with a standalone water bottle or integrate into a hydration pack for higher capacity - adapting for cycling, hiking or running.
Kion is designed to distribute water and evaporate it quickly. This evaporation absorbs a lot of energy and generates cooling.
Kion is primarily meant for outdoor use. Using it indoors on a trainer or treadmill is possible, but we'd recommend a lot of fan airflow.
Kion needs to breathe to work. Therefore, it should work well underneath a mesh motorcycle jacket, but not a leather jacket or bulletproof vest, for example.
Yes - Kion is amplifying your ability to cool evaporatively. However, you can control the level of wetness and the textile is designed to spread water out a lot so it is far lighter and more breathable than say wet cotton.
We are offering two colors: light gray and black. To maximize cooling performance, go with light gray, which will reflect more sunlight, reducing solar heat load. To minimize transparency and hide stains/dirt, choose black.
We plan to ship orders in July 2027.
During our campaign, we are only collecting deposits ($95 for Kion). If you change your mind during the campaign (September), let us know (store@thermobionics.com), and we'll refund the deposit. Starting in October, we will be ordering hardware, and the deposit is non-refundable, but we will not bill for the remainder if you wish to cancel. We think this approach minimizes customer risk compared with conventional crowdfunding campaigns that require full upfront payments while still providing accurate manufacturing volumes.
If we sell an amount significantly less than our funding goal, we may cancel the pre-orders for this year (and refund deposits).
We plan to build this Kion batch in the USA (with parts sourced globally).
