**Pre-order Terms and Conditions**

These Pre-order Terms apply to deposit-based pre-orders on ThermoBionics. By placing a deposit pre-order, you agree to these terms along with our standard Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

**What is a Deposit Pre-order?**

A deposit pre-order secures your place in line for a product not yet available. You pay a deposit now and pay the remaining balance when the item is ready to ship.

**Payment Schedule**

**Deposit Payment:** Collected immediately when you place your pre-order.

**Balance Payment:** We will notify you by email before collecting the balance payment.

Your payment details are securely stored with Shopify Payments so we can charge the balance when ready. You will not need to manually complete another checkout.

**Pre-Charge Notification**

We will email you 5 days before charging the balance payment. This gives you time to:
- Update your payment method if needed
- Cancel your order if you've changed your mind
- Contact us with any questions

If your payment method fails when we attempt to charge the balance, you'll have 7 days to update your payment information. After 3 failed attempts, we may cancel your order and your deposit will be forfeited.

**Estimated Availability**

The estimated ship date is shown on the product page and in your order confirmation. This date is our best estimate and may change due to production or shipping delays.

If the estimated date changes by more than 2 weeks, we will notify you and give you the option to cancel for a full refund of your deposit.

**Deposit Refund Policy**

Deposits are non-refundable at the end of the campaign (Oct 1st, 2026) because we order materials, parts and specific sizes from our vendors using deposit funds that we may not be able to re-use.  Customers can cancel their order before fulfillment though on the remainder of the purchase cost.  Customers are responsible for providing delivery address and current payment information if out of date.  

Exceptions are that the deposit will be refunded if we cannot fulfill the order due to manufacturing or product technical issues.  

**Delivery**

Once both payments are successfully collected, your order will ship according to the estimated timeline. Standard shipping times apply based on your selected method.

**Balance Payment Failures**

If we cannot successfully charge your balance payment after 3 failed attempts:
- 
- Your deposit will be forfeited and your order will be cancelled

We will send reminder emails and provide multiple opportunities to update payment information before taking any action.

**Add On Product Availability**

Addons will be shipped along with pre-order items.  If any addon product is not available we will refund that portion of the order.
